Thank you for taking the time to allow me to introduce myself.  I moved to Memphis in 1968, after spending my first 4 years in New York, when my parents decided to return to their hometown.  I am a proud graduate of Christian Brothers High School and The University of Memphis, where I earned a Business degree majoring in Real Estate and Finance.  Real Estate has been my full-time career since becoming licensed in 1992.  I find it truly rewarding turning clients into friends and sharing the passion for finding not just a house, but the right home.  Patience, knowledge of Memphis and the surrounding municipalities, rapport with other agents, and familiarity with construction have guided my career over the past 30 years.

I was raised in East Memphis, and currently live in the Highpoint Terrace neighborhood with my wife, Karla Willingham Templeton, and our 2 children. Some of my hobbies include cycling, hiking, woodworking, and cooking/BBQ.

I look forward to working with you.

Testimonials

“It’s difficult to express in just a few sentences the dedication and professionalism shown by Clay Templeton during the recent sale of my mother’s home in Memphis. Living in Middle Tennessee, I was unable to be on site for the overwhelming majority of the process and had to trust that Clay had things covered. Not only did he handle the basic concerns and issues associated with selling a home, Clay went far beyond what I or any seller would expect. There were several evenings I would receive a text providing updates on matters I hadn’t even considered. You would think that someone who has been in the mortgage industry for almost thirty years as I have, would think of every small detail. The difference is that besides the normal business expectations, Clay puts his heart into his profession and himself in your place, to ensure the best possible experience. I truly mean this when I say, there is no one I trust more in this industry than Clay Templeton.”
